We received our building inspection report and the overall opinion is that the frame has been really well constructed which is terrific. Well done Troy. A couple of minor issues to fix but quite happy with result. It will be good if all the tradies who end up working on the house live up to the same standard.
..of course the brickies have to actually arrive before we can judge their work. Has anyone seen one lately or are they some sort of mythical creature????
We also managed to look through the electricals on the house and found a couple of errors that we will be chasing up with our Administrator. Good idea if you can check electricals to plan prior to plaster going in.
Now the weather is supposed to be good tomorrow so no excuses with the Brickie, oh and look - there go those flying pigs again. :)

Electricals and plaster already..? Your site was scraped just 7 weeks ago...!! Clearly another case of an SS who responds to a bottle of red..!!
Funny you should mention checking electricals against the plan. I was doing this just tonight. All ok thus far, but more to be completed tomorrow.
Gang, thanks for the words of encouragement on the blog tonight. Hope the electrics get sorted out. I am looking out for those flying pigs. If I see a brickie I'll let you know too.

Great to hear that the Inspection went well. We only had 8 issues on our BSS one and they were all due to bits of frame not being plumb (which thanks to Petal I now know as not being straight).
I poured over our house once the electricals were done and found three missing GPO's and one in the wrong spot. One thing common in other Cremorne's (may apply to Rowland too) is that the light switch on stair well is put almost under the handrail and check behind the double doors in master. Ours needs to be moved like M&M's did.
Hope they find you some brickies soon. What a bummer that there is a shortage. Hope they continue to do bits on the inside.

Hi G&V. It's been over a 2 week wait, but my brickies finally returned today.
At least other things are continuing to happen at your site. As mentioned before, your progress thus far has been incredible.
